The J & D Financial Journey started in 2005 when I began preparing taxes for family and friends and absolutely loved it! I quickly realized my passion for helping others reach their goals by getting them maximum refunds and guiding them into purchasing homes, cars, and starting businesses. Then, I had a thought: by providing accurate bookkeeping, allowing owners more time to effectively run their operations, and saving them money, I can help small businesses accomplish their dreams too.
Having earned over thirty years of experience, I have put my Accounting degree to work for big companies such as Wells Fargo, M&M Tax Services, EarthTech, GNC, and most recently, South Carolina Legal Services. I am a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, a certified notary, and a registered tax return preparer. I am also a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals, American Association of Notaries, and Together SC for nonprofits.
